About Mr. Conlin

This will be my 7th year of teaching, and my first year teaching at WOLCA. I have worked with young people in a variety of ministry settings including the coordination of a Church Family Ministry, directing leadership programs with Christian camps, and teaching at two Christian schools. These opportunities have allowed my wife, Heather and I to live in Pennsylvania, Ontario (Canada), Western Michigan, and Upstate New York. In addition, we have worked with people from all over the world! This includes friends in Argentina, Honduras, England, South Africa, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Kenya, France, China, and Spain!

I am a huge nature fan, and enjoy long hikes, camping, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, canoeing, gardening, and farm markets. Speaking of farms, I love agriculture and how it impacts communities in a positive way. I have designed agricultural education programs for schools and look forward to bringing my experience and passion to WOLCA. I developed this passion while growing up in my hometown of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where there are many farms and Amish people.

Heather and I will be celebrating 12 years of marriage in October. We love going to a bed and breakfast each year to celebrate! We also love playing volleyball, yard games, card games, Ticket to Ride, and many other games. We enjoy meeting friends for lunch at Subway or the Olive Garden and Cheesecake Factory for dinner. My favorite seasons are Fall and Winter, while Heather’s favorites are Spring and Summer. You will often find us spending beautiful days in a park or at the beach on one of the Great Lakes. Occasionally, I may even get caught up in watching a football game of my Alma Mater, Penn State University. Go Big Blue!
